Lipich family, Vinnitsa Ukraine

My father-in-law, Vladimir Ivanovich Lipich, was born 19. july 1946 in Vinnitsa, former Soviet Union. He was educated a surgeon, and as far as I understand a very good one. He went to Africa and became sick with Malaria and died in Moscow 19 october 1984. So, I never met him.

But I would like to find out more about him.

This is what I know, in addition to what is written above:

His father is supposed to be called Ivan Lipich (possibly of Jewish descent) and his mother Darya Alexeyevna Lipich. I have no birth data on either. Ivan Lipich is probably born sometime between 1906 and 1926.
